We
meet in the Bradford Industrial Museum (see right) on the third
Saturday of each month and we have use of the room from 10 am to 4 pm. Membership of the Guild is open to anyone who is interested in joining us, even if they do not spin, weave or dye. Visitors are always welcome, for a small charge. Our members come from all walks of life and not all of them live in Bradford. Most of them live in Yorkshire but we also have members in America and New Zealand and we keep in touch with them all via a monthly newsletter. We have a varied programme of speakers and workshops throughout the year and we also have "skill sharing" days, where members help each other master new techniques. See photos of our previous meetings here. If you would like further information about joining the Guild you can send an email to bradfordguild@googlemail.com or see the contacts page for details of our committee members. |
